Go Industries, one of the leading truck accessory manufacturers in the United States, has acquired 39,602 square feet of commercial space in
Richardson, Texas. The new four-parcel asset will offer Go Industries a new 18,000-square-foot machine shop and an upgraded, 8,000-square-foot fabrication department, while the additional space will be looked at for future expansion or lease. The property is located just a short distance from the company's headquarters.
The seller is Texas-based Atlas Copco Compressors.
In a statement, Bob Orth Sr., founder of Go Industries, stated that the purchase will allow the company to "double the size of the machine shop, hire a few more people and increase production." He added that they were "very fortunate that this property went on the market when it did. The timing was good and interest rates are low."
No word on the financial details of the deal.
