The data-management company, Informatica Corporation, will be the next tenant to move into the new Aspen Lake One complex in
Austin, Texas. They will join existing tenant LDR Spine in the four-story building at 13785 Research Blvd, in an emerging district of the state capital.
Informatica, a northern California-based company, will occupy 35,824 square feet of space. LDR Spine, a surgical-equipment manufacturer and distributor, currently leases 45,538 square feet of space. This brings the occupancy rate to 40%, while at this time last year, it was zero.
The complex was built in 2008 (right around the same time the U.S. economy crashed) by Park at Aspen Lake, LLC, who declared bankruptcy and then sold the property to current owners, Crimson Real Estate Fund and their partners. The firm hopes to have 100% occupancy by the end of the year.
The lease is reported to be long-term, with a move in date of March, 2012.
