
New York City property management firm, The Rudin Family, has comes to terms with their partners, The Rose Family, to acquire a 100% stake in One Battery Park in
Manhattan. The 36-story building on State Street features 885,000 square feet of office space and was built in 1971, funded by the Rose and Rudin families, who formed a partnership in the early 1960's.
Representatives of the Rudin family state that this move clearly illustrates their commitment to revitalization and re-emergence of Manhattan and
New York City, not seen since 9/11. Their portfolio includes One Whitehall Street, 32 Avenue of the Americas, 80 Pine Street, 110 Wall Street, and 55 Broad Street, among others.
Current tenants at One Battery Park include Liberty Mutual, Seward and Kissel, and Wollan and Greengrass, as well as other firms.
