The Stay
Chalet Écrin Blanc sits directly on the Bellecôte piste in Courchevel 1850, which means the day begins by clicking in at the ski room door and ends gliding home to vin chaud on the terrace. Across five cantilevered levels, the chalet pairs old-growth timber and grey stone with a collection of alpine photography, its double-height great room framing Vanoise summits through a ten-metre wall of glass.
Seven suites sleep fourteen, from a top-floor master with fireplace and balcony to a bunk suite that makes children genuinely reluctant to ski. The wellness level is carved into the mountainside: 15-metre pool, sauna, steam room, snow shower, and massage suite with therapists on call. Staff include a chalet manager, chef trained in a two-Michelin-star kitchen, driver with two Range Rovers, and an in-house ski concierge who handles passes, instructors, and heli-ski days.
Offered on a fully catered basis with an open bar of estate wines. Seven-night minimum during the winter season, Saturday to Saturday; summer alpine weeks available on request.
